Transdev Customer Service Representative in WOODLAND, California

Customer Service Representative (Transportation) - Bilingual (English/Spanish)

About the Role:

Transdev is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our growing team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring their transportation needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, emails, and inquiries from customers regarding transportation services.

  • Effectively listen to customer concerns, questions, and complaints.

  • Provide accurate and timely information about routes, schedules, fares, and other transportation services.

  • Research and clearly document customer issues, ensuring clear resolution paths.

  • Work collaboratively with dispatch and other teams to resolve customer inquiries and transportation concerns.

  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with customer issues, including those that are escalated or complex.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Preferred:

  • Up to 2 years of customer service or basic office experience preferred.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency required - must be proficient in speaking and understanding both languages.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Active listening skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic to intermediate computer knowledge and experience with PC applications.

  • Familiarity with the local service area is a plus.

  • Competitive starting pay rate of $20.49 - $22.38 per hour. (Depending on experience)
