Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for daily and weekly scheduling of operators to include the extra-board to ensure cost efficiencies while meeting service demands and union contractual requirements. - Required to maintain the scheduling databases to ensure accurate information is maintained; to include the administration of operator time off and bidding process.

• Coordinates departmental and company goals and objectives with various departments to include, Senior Operations Supervisors, Human Resources, Safety & Training, and Maintenance.

• Assists with establishing procedures and standards for efficient and effective transit operations, enforces applicable laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to the position. - Verify attendance, hours worked.

• Other related duties as assigned.

• Independence of Action: The workers supervisor sets overall program objectives. The worker receives general instructions from the supervisor on the work to be done and the worker makes decisions on the specifics pertaining to the work and keeps the supervisor informed of work progress and any problems that may arise in meeting objectives. The worker recommends major changes for the supervisors approval.

   Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Sound understanding of run time methodology and route scheduling techniques required. Computer literate with the capacity to learn new software

• Must be detail oriented and computer literate with experience in operating a data base, word-processing software, and spreadsheet software.

• Must have the ability to work with time constraints and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication and listening skills

• Must have knowledge of or the ability to learn Transdev's operating rules, procedures- Basic math skills required.

• Excellent proofreading, research, communication, organization and interpersonal skills required.

• Transit Operational experience essential

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
