Transdev Customer Service Rep in Astoria, New York

Overview

A Greeter performs a variety of functions to ensure that quality customer service is provided to each customer.

Responsibilities

  • Meets and greets customers.

  • Provides customers with directions and answers their general questions.

  • Directs movement of buses.

  • Monitors on time performance.

  • Work closely with reservations and dispatch

  • Strong customer service skills required

  • Must be able to travel throughout Manhattan

  • Be able to work under pressure and fast paced environments

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: High school Diploma or GED.

EXPERIENCE: Transportation or Hospitality

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and communicate the English language, ability to read and comprehend instructions.

REASONING ABILITY: Able to apply common sense understanding to help the customers and answer their questions.
